Writing-Intensive Instructor Login

Writing Intensive courses provide students with continuing opportunities to synthesize ideas and develop complex thinking processes. When students write in response to course reading, they learn to raise questions and express opinions. They also analyze, integrate, formulate and communicate ideas based on their evolving understanding of course material.

To support faculty and students, the University Writing Center invites faculty to this “faculty only” portion of its website. First-time users of the site need to register in order to use the site. After registering, faculty can login to access the following options: posting writing assignments for writing center tutors, offering specific suggestions to tutors about their assignment, and viewing pages that contain useful support materials for writing intensive courses.
