Texas Tech is proud to offer its PhD in Technical
Communication and Rhetoric via distance education. The final approval was granted on July 15th, 2004.
Application deadlines are March 1 for fall
admissions and September 1 for spring admissions.
Scholarship application deadlines vary.
The degree is identical to the one we have offered on-campus since 1992; therefore, all degree, coursework, and exam procedures can be found on the main PhD website. The resources you will find here are for those things that are different, such as the May Workshop, the list of online courses, special application materials, and so on.
