About the Harbinger
Harbinger is an annual student journal of Arts and Letters at Texas Tech University. Harbinger is published by the Psi Delta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honor society. Harbinger currently accepts submissions of all creative work, but has assigned editors for the following genres: essay (critical and personal), fiction, non-fiction, music (originals, please--contemporary or classical,) poetry, and visual art. Harbinger also encourages the submission of genre-bending pieces that blur the lines between these genres.

Harbinger typically accepts submissions during the fall and spring semesters, with submissions being accepted for the issue to be released in the next semester. The current submission deadline is December 1, 2009. The staff are currently aiming for Spring 2009 release date.
