ABOUT THE HARBINGER

The Harbinger is an annual student journal of literature and art, organized and edited by Texas Tech University undergraduate students, and funded by grants from generous donors. Harbinger is accepting submissions from TTU undergraduate and graduate students in the form of short prose (fiction and non-fiction), poetry, and visual arts until December 15th, 2012. The staff is aiming for a March 2013 release date. All artists/authors published in the 2013 journal will be guaranteed a copy of the journal, and there will be free copies distributed around the TTU campus at many locations, including the library.

MISSION STATEMENT

Harbinger is also committed to promoting the artistic pursuits of students on the campus of Texas Tech University. We hope to provide an appropriate forum for artistic expression at the local level, and in pursuit of this task, to raise the funds necessary to produce a journal worthy of its contents. Harbinger is also committed to promoting new artforms or work that defies simple categorization.
